Sherry Kay O'Deen was born on March 5, 1944 in Waterloo, Iowa. She passed from this life on December 2, 2011 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 67 years, 8 months & 27 days.

Sherry worked many years as a registered nurse and was the Head R.N. for St. John Hospital's Medical Intensive Care Unit for several years. When she was not working, she loved cooking, sewing and she was an avid quilter. She also was very devoted to animals. She will be remembered by her family and friends as the ultimate caregiver and for her devotion to her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, James E. "Jim" O'Deen, 1 daughter; Lisa Church and husband Mike, of Kanab, Utah, 1 son; Kris Nirk and wife Natalie, of Broken Arrow, 7 grandchildren; Katelyn, Jake, Josh, Kallie, Savannah, Ava & Alivia, 10 step-brothers & sisters and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and good friends.
