MARY J. O'HERN

Mary Juanita O'Hern was born on April 25, 1928 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Thomas Burgess & Lucy Ellen (Lafferty) Burgess. She passed from this life on March 3, 2009 at her home in Bixby, Oklahoma at the age 80 years, 10 months & 6 days.

Mary will be remembered as a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She had lived virtually all of her life in the Leonard, Liberty, Morris & Bixby areas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 husbands; Len Schumaker & Charley O'Hern and 2 daughters; Marcia Weil & Melody Oglesby.

She is survived by 3 sons; Ronald Schumaker of Houston, TX, Jacob Schumaker and wife Lilly, of Turley & Leonard Schumaker of Broken Arrow, 2 daughters; Daisy Gayle and husband Robert, of Kiefer & Brenda Six and husband Mike, of Piedmont, 1 brother; Mike Burgess and wife Dorothy, of Beggs, 17 grandchildren; Angie Overstreet & Jeff, Chuck Berryhill & Cindy, Lori Carpenter & Gerald, Katie Corn & Brandon, Betsey Cooper & Keith, Bobby Weil, Andrew Six & Christina, Brad Six & Kelly, Shawn Six, Amelia Six, Tristan Six, Ryan Six, Cindy Jones, Christopher Schumaker, Willie Schumaker, Michael Six & Mandy and Vivian Pitts & Brad, 24 great-grandchildren; Aiden Six, Josh Berryhill, Jeremy Reed & Heather, Steve Reed, Alex Reed, Derek Leach, Shelby Fulks & Rolly, Courtney Berryhill, Casey Berryhill, Harley Berryhill, Marcus Jones, Paige Weil, Stranton Farrah, Reagan Cooper, Maddie Cooper, Gideon Six, Kodie Carpenter, Megan Six, Lauren Six, Gavin Six, Derek Aleman, Kyle Aleman, Paige Aleman & Turner Aleman, 2 great-great-grandchildren; Isaiah Reed & Destiny Leach, 2 nieces; Michele Sumner and husband Joe & Dewanda Johnson and husband Doug, 1 nephew; Michael Burgess and numerous great-nieces & nephews as well as many friends.
