Eunice Ileene Wright Ragland
Eunice Ileene Wright Ragland was born on April 7, 1927 in Seneca, Missouri to Albert & Alice (Beck) Wright. She passed from this life on October 16, 2006 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 79 years, 6 months & 9 days.
Eunice spent her early years in the Prue community before moving to Sand Springs where she attended Charles Page High School. She worked many years as a Dietitian at Oakdale Manor where she made many friends. She moved to Bixby to be close to her only daughter, Carol Taylor. She would often spend time at her daughters office, Century 21 J. Carol, Realtors where she was treated with such love and respect by all the employees and agents. She also delighted in going to Branson with her daughter and family once a year, usually around July 4th. Eunice is described by her family and loved ones as the most unselfish, loving, devoted mother, grandmother and friend that ever walked this earth. Her passing leaves an ache in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother; Charles Dean Wright, and her beloved sister-in-law and best friend, Corine Lamb. She is survived by 1 daughter; J. Carol Taylor, and her husband Dan of Bixby, 1 brother; Melvin (Bluther) Wright of Sand Springs, 3 grandchildren; Gregory Joe Deitz, Daniel Brandon, and his wife Kristen Deitz, Rae Annon Allyson Taylor and 2 great-grandchildren; Gentry and McKenzie Deitz.
