Olenda R. Ray was born on August 23, 1963 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to James Olen & Grace (Mathes) Berry. She went to be with the Lord on July 22, 2007 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 4 years, 10 months & 29 days.

Olenda had lived in this area virtually all of her life. She was a graduate of Jenks High School and Tulsa Community College. She was employed at Vanderott College where she served as the Director of Financial Aid. Prior to this, she worked at C.C.'s Cosmetology College as a financial aid assistant. Some of her other jobs were with Merry Maids, Neighbor Newspapers and the Metris Company. She was always respected for her honesty and work ethic.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Emmett Franklin Ray whom she married on June 3, 1981 in Jenks, Oklahoma. In 1992, she and Frank took Jason Chambliss into their hearts and home. She is also survived by her mother; Grace Berry of Tulsa, 2 sisters; Mary Elizabeth Bonnell of Tulsa & Margaret Catherine Berry of Leonard, 1 niece; Grace Margaret Dunn and husband Tom as well as a multitude of loving friends. She was preceded in death by her father, a brother-in-law; Paul Bonnell and a nephew; Michael John Dunn, Jr.

Casket bearers were William Cotton, Mark Wakefield, Rusty Vandewege, Jerry Royal, Mike Ellis & Jeff Stokes.
