VELMA L. REYNOLDS
Velma L. Reynolds was born on May 14, 1915 in Weleetka, Oklahoma to Addie & Malinda (Robinson) Boggs. She passed from this life on May 7, 2006 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma just 7 days from her 91st birthday.
Velma will be remembered by her family as a wonderful and devoted homemaker who was famous for her homemade noodles. She also will be remembered for her loves of shopping, sewing, embroidery, quilting and reading the Bixby Bulletin. She was a longtime member of the Bixby Free Will Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Al "Doc" Reynolds on March 30, 1982 as well as by 2 sisters; Ona Smith & Juanita Boggs, 3 brothers; Bud, Albert & Arlen Boggs, 1 grandson; Stanley Carr and 1 granddaughter; Maria Ann Reynolds. She is survived by 1 son; Paul Reynolds and his wife Velma, of Green Forest, AR, 1 daughter; Patsy Carr and her husband Jerome, of Bixby, 1 sister whom she was especially close to; Eula Mae Wilmott of Sapulpa, 4 grandchildren; Paula Rowland and her husband Terry, Cindy Reynolds, Missy Leibold and her husband Mark & Stephanie Reeves, 3 great-grandchildren; Leslie Toler and her husband Scott, Bryce Rowland & Taylor Reeves.
Casket bearers were Terry Rowland, Mark Leibold, Herschel Edwards, Johnny Bittle, Ray Tate, Bryce Rowland & Scott Toler. Music was provided by Brenda Evans.
