Billye Ruth Ladd Robertson was born on November 5, 1930 in Boynton, Oklahoma, the only child of Wayne Earl & Nora Emma Ladd. She passed from this life on January 15, 2009 at her home in Bixby, Oklahoma with her family at her side at the age of 78 years, 2 months & 10 days.

Billye graduated high school from Council Hill, having attended all twelve years there and began working at Boynton Bank upon graduation. She married her high school sweetheart and love of her life, Shelby Robertson on August 28, 1952 in Boynton. They moved to Tulsa in 1955. In 1962, God gave them a son to love and be loved by, whom they named Mark Wayne. In 1968, they moved to Bixby. Billye Ruth had many interests including oil painting and cake decorating. She was actively involved in raising her grandchildren, teaching 4 & 5 year olds in Sunday School and caring for babies in the nursery at church. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and friends, much to their delight. Billye Ruth leaves behind loving impressions on the hearts of those who knew her and many beautiful paintings, both of which her family is extremely proud of.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Shelby, her son & daughter-in-law; Mark & Kim Robertson of Tulsa, 2 beautiful grandchildren; Nicholas & Kassidy and numerous cousins, church family and good friends. She was loved and will be missed by all who knew her.

Casket bearers are Rodney David, Dave Hill, Martin Baker, Bud Six, Pete Black & Larry Poffin. Music will be provided by Danna Decker & D'Ann Hargrove.
