Ila Bell Sanders was born on September 25, 1910 in Tucanna, Texas to Marion L. & Mable (Monroe) Williams. She passed from this life on April 21, 2007 in Muskogee, Oklahoma at the age of 96 years, 6 months & 27 days.

Ila had lived in the Bixby community for virtually all of her life. She worked many years as a cafeteria worker in the Bixby Public Schools and also as a custodian for Citizens Security Bank. She was formerly a member of the First Baptist Church. She will forever be remembered for her loves of cooking, baking cookies and always feeding any company that came to see her as well as crocheting, and working in her flower and vegetable gardens.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jasper Isaac "Bud" Sanders on May 9, 1980, 2 sons; Billy Marion Sanders & Jasper Sanders Jr. and 5 siblings; Florence Iva Morse, Melvin Wesley Williams, Odessa June Summers, Marion Carl Williams & Arthur Donald Williams. She is survived by 1 daughter; Betty Davie of Adair, OK, 1 son; Gary Lynn Sanders of Duncan, OK, 2 brothers; Marvin Lawrence Williams of Bixby & Gordon Eugene Williams of Grand Prairie, Arkansas, 7 grandchildren; Sandra Kay Jones, Richard Lee Sanders, Ronnie Lee Sanders, Nelson Wayne Sanders, Billy Charles Sanders, Krista Brown & Brian James Sanders, 14 great-grandchildren, 18 great-great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-great-grandson and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Casket bearers were Christopher Sanders, Joshua Sanders, Bobby Sanders, Jeremiah Sanders & Jamey Brittain.
