I went to school with Geraldine and remembeer her so very well. She was a couple of grades ahead of me but remember her being so nice and a great sense of humor. I've known all the Shanks the biggest part of my life and want to say I know Geraldine will be missed. You were their rock. 6 December 16, 2008 - 03:03 PM Anissa Geraldine was one of my favorite aunt's, she always wore a smile and had great things to say about everyone. Even though I moved away I thought of her often. I will never forget when Little Harley got stuck on the top of their house, I might have been young but it is one of those memories that I will never forget. She never forgot her roots and never pretended to be other than who she really was. She was so down-to-earth & had such a brilliant mind! I had the priviledge of knowing her all my life. She was a dear friend to our family. We had a lot in common & shared our secrets, hurts, cares & concerns with each other.
