Eddie Ray Shatswell was born on January 28, 1962 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Millard Jessie Shatswell and Edna Mae (Lowe) Shatswell. He passed from this life on November 29, 2011 at his home in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 49 years, 10 months & 1 day.

Eddie grew up in the Bixby community and was a graduate of Bixby High School. He had also lived in Kellyville and Tulsa. He worshipped as a member of the United Methodist Church. He had worked for 15 years in the maintenance department for T.D. Williamson.

He was preceded in death by his father and 2 brothers; Bruce Henry Shatswell and Danny Eugene Shatswell.

He is survived by his wife; Diane (Davis) Shatswell whom he married on April 8, 1994 in Tulsa as well as by his mother; Edna Mae Jones of Checotah, 3 daughters; Brenda Shatswell of Kiefer, Christie Rose of Glenpool & April Rose of Texas, 2 sons; Matthew Shatswell of California & Bud Rose of Tulsa, 3 sisters; Kathy Brown of Bixby, Judy Hamilton of Council Hill & Brenda Gilman of Broken Arrow, 17 grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
