Grace Marie Brown Slinker was born on September 26, 1940 in Bristow, Oklahoma to John Brown & Alice (Greenwood) Brown. She passed from this life on March 4, 2010 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 69 years, 5 months & 6 days.

Grace has lived in this area for most of her life. She was a graduate of Liberty High School and had worked 21 years for the Creek Nation as a realty specialist.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers; Henry Brown & Marchie Brown and 2 sisters; Loda Stafford & Martha Sue Deo.

She is survived by 2 sons; William Roger Bell, Jr. of Okmulgee & Charles Leon Slinker, Jr. of Hectorville, 1 daughter; LaResa Marie Slinker of Bixby, 3 brothers; John D. Brown of Bixby, Otis R. Brown of Hectorville & Roy Brown of Tulsa, 1 sister; Dorothy Ciak of Topeka, KS, 6 grandchildren; Rhiannon Sue Bell of Okmulgee, Ethan William Bell of Okmulgee, Corey Dale Slinker of Bixby, Skye Blue Lindsey of Bixby, Allison Gracie Lindsey of Bixby & Emily Lauren Benson of Bixby, 2 great-grandchildren; Caden Emile Wixson of Okmulgee & Hunter David Wayne Wixson of Okmulgee and a host of nieces & nephews.

Casket bearers are Ethan Bell, Corey Slinker, John Brown, Glen Brown, Vince Deo, Danny Deo, Jackie Stafford & Scott Stafford. Honorary bearers are Otis Brown, John D. Brown, Matt Ciak, Steve Deo, Shannon Brown & Skye Blue Lindsey.
