Cecil "Butch" Taylor was born on April 16, 1943 in Ft. Sill, Oklahoma to Cecil L. & Maxine Opal (Doughty) Taylor. He passed from this life on October 7, 2007 in Bixby, Oklahoma at the age of 64 years, 5 months & 21 days.

Cecil had worked for many years as a manager for the Locke Heating & Air Company. He was a very hard-working, simple and morally sound man that was especially devoted to his family, especially his grandchildren. Some of his favorite activities included coaching baseball, woodworking, golf, fishing, trains, watching O.U. football games and going on drives or out to eat with his wife.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Kay (Bankston) Taylor, whom he married on September 1, 1966 in Tulsa as well as by 3 children; Wade Taylor of Porter, Teresa Weber and husband Doug, of Bixby & Lance Taylor and wife Jennifer, of Porter. He is also survived by his mother; Maxine Opal Taylor of Bixby, 4 brothers; Mike Taylor of Cleveland, OK, Dan Taylor and wife Carol, of Bixby, Pat Taylor and wife Marsha, of Jenks & Steve Taylor of Bixby, 5 grandchildren; Callie, Lance, Payton, Jayson & Drew as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives and good friends. He was preceded in death by his father.
