Willis John Tecumseh was born on December 14, 1945 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Israel Tecumseh and Wisey Lee (Scott) Tecumseh. He passed from this life on May 21, 2011 at his home in Okmulgee, Oklahoma at the age of 65 years, 5 months & 7 days.

Willis was very proud to have served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corp during the Vietnam War.

He was preceded in death by his parents and by 1 brother; Nero Tecumseh.

He is survived by 1 daughter; Heather Tecumseh of Okmulgee, 3 sons; Tommy Tecumseh of Okmulgee, Wilson Tecumseh of Okmulgee & Ramsey Tecumseh of Arizona, 5 sisters; Jeanette Washington of Okmulgee, Eldeen Tecumseh of Florida, Katherine Tecumseh of Okmulgee, Emma Dominguez of Dallas, TX & Isabell Tecumseh of Morris, 3 brothers; Ramsey Tecumseh of Winter Haven, CA, July Tecumseh of Muskogee & Paul Tecumseh of Bixby, 2 grandchildren; Mariya & Colton Tecumseh and several other relatives and friends.

Casket bearers are Paul Tecumseh Jr., Ryan Jones, Yv-hv-etv Tecumseh, Joseph Dominguez, Jeremy Tecumseh & Cetto Nekko. Honorary bearers are Leroy Springwater & Vincent Locust.
