We so wish we could have been there for your family... Pops (James) said he and Marlene really enjoyed getting to know her over the years and really respected her and her husband. He also said they enjoyed going over to the Thomason's house for S.S. fellowships. Before Marlene passed on, she and Avis were good buds. I suspect they are catching up now. Tom and I are also truly sorry for your loss. We had grown to love and respect Mrs. Thomason. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers! I knew her from our earliest days at FIrst Baptist - in Sunday School, WMU, etc. I think she was a wonderful person then and although I haven't had any contact with her since we left First Baptist church (soon after Dr. Hultgren retired). I have fond memories of her down to earth personality. I am sorry that I will be unable to attend her funeral, but her family needs to know that I will be thinking of them. In Christ's wonderful name and looking forward to the time we will all be reunited in heaven.
