Thelma F. Peevyhouse Thompson was born on January 26, 1914 in Hot Springs, Arkansas to Charlie & Docia (Weldon) Snodgrass. She passed from this life on December 29, 2011 at her home in Bixby, Oklahoma at the golden age of 97 years, 11 months & 3 days.

Thelma moved to Bixby at the age of 12. She met and married Clayton Peevyhouse at the age of 18. She attended Shellenbarger Free Will Baptist Church for many years and was unofficially elected mayor of her street by Bro. Lloyd Morris, pastor of the church. She retired from McDonnel-Douglas Aircraft at age 65 and lived a good many years after that. She loved her yard, her flowers, her neighbors and most of all her kids and all of her grandkids. She will be sorely missed in so many ways.

She is survived by her 5 children, 3 boys and 2 girls; Gerald T. & Jana Peevyhouse of Broken Arrow, Allie & Paul Neafus of Bixby, Leroy Peevyhouse of Bixby, Wanda & Ronnie Gibson of Bixby and Donnie Peevyhouse of Wagoner, 13 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, 13 great-great-grandchildren and a host of other friends and relatives.

Casket bearers are Gary Peevyhouse, Randy Peevyhouse, Paul Neafus, Jr., Mark Neafus, Brian Gibson, Gregg Gibson, Rick Peevyhouse & Clayton Peevyhouse. Honorary bearer is Todd Peevyhouse. Music to be provided by Lesa Armstrong & Heather P. Gibson.
