Thomas Joe Tripp

Thomas Joe Tripp was born on June 16, 1952 in Whittier, California to Billy Joe & Betty Louise Tripp. He passed from this life on September 10, 2008 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 56 years, 2 months & 25 days.

Joe was a well-known and respected auto dealer, salesman and all-around "car guy" in this area since 1971. He was proud to have served his country as a member of the United States Army. He worshipped at Victory Christian Center since 1980. He was one of the biggest fans Nascar has ever had. His family will always remember his loving devotion to them and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Kris Andrea Tripp, whom he married on July 29, 1978 in Las Vegas. He is also survived by his mother; Betty Tripp of Tulsa, 3 daughters; Jody Hill and husband Russell, of Oologah, "George" Hays of Oologah & Kristan Tripp of Tulsa, 1 son; Joseph Thomas "Joe" Tripp and wife April, of Tulsa, 2 sisters; Pamela Wolfe and husband Jim, of Tulsa & Jolene Biggs and husband Ken, of Tulsa, 9 grandchildren; Alex, Jessica, Hailey, Brooklyn, Taylor, Daryn Jo, Kaleb, Kaden & Tyce, his mother-in-law; Claudine Papen of Tulsa, brother & sisters-in-law; Kim Papen, Carla & Mike Bittner and Kevin & Donna Papen, nieces & nephews; Kenny, Karen, Tonya, Jennifer, Danny, Mitch, Alyssa & Tyler and many, many good friends. He was preceded in death by his father and an infant son; Billy Joe Tripp in 1979.

Music was provided by Sharon Daugherty and Cecelia Croissant. Casket bearers were Bobbie Cummins, Greg Burns, Steve Harrison, Shane Weaver, Steve Barnes & Job Dungan. Honorary bearers were Mitch Perez, Danny Dill, Kevin Papen, Russell Hill, Jim Wolfe, Kaleb Woods, Kaden Woods & Tyce Woods.
