Fred Tuttle was born on December 14, 1914 in Leonard, Oklahoma to Oscar & Ora (Moore) Tuttle. He passed from this life on February 28, 2007 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma at the age of 92 years, 2 months & 14 days.

Fred had lived in this area virtually all of his life. He was a retired farmer and also worked for many years as the ranch manager for the C.J. McCoy Ranch. He was a dedicated husband, father and friend and was especially fond of his grandchildren.

He married Lillie Mae (Boyles) Tuttle in 1932 in Miami, Oklahoma and after more than 73 years of marriage, she preceded him in death on January 3, 2007. He was also preceded by 1 son; Jack Tuttle in 2001, 2 brothers; Lee & Cecil Tuttle and 2 sisters; Muriel Wheeler & Jessie Ketchum. He is survived by 1 daughter; Darlene Mize and husband J.B., of Liberty Mounds, 1 brother; Dee Tuttle of Mounds, 1 sister; Bessie Raby of Sapulpa, 4 grandchildren; Ronnie Mize of Liberty, Sherri Mize of Liberty, Lisa Leffler of Mounds & Gina Steinberg of Mounds, 3 great-grandchildren; Cody Anderson, Brandon Anderson & Whitney Mize, 4 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
