Solomon B. Wilson, Jr. was born on July 21, 1940 in Okmulgee County, Oklahoma to Solomon B. Wilson, Sr. and Nicey (Tecumseh) Wilson. He passed from this life on February 18, 2008 in Muskogee, Oklahoma at the age of 67 years, 6 months & 28 days.

Solomon had worked for American Foundry for over 6 years and had also worked in the construction industry. He was affiliated with Concharty United Methodist Church. He loved fishing, gardening and hunting.

He is survived by his wife; Linda G. Wilson whom he married on September 24, 1986 in Okmulgee as well as by 2 sons; Kenny Ray Wilson of Turlock, California & Randy Wilson of Missouri, 3 step-sons; James David Harris, Darrell DeWayne Harris of Checotah & Larry William Harris of Haskell, 4 brothers; Woodrow Wilson, Jimmy Wilson of Mounds, Jerry Wilson of Haskell & Johnny Wilson of Okmulgee, 4 sisters; Florence Brown of Okmulgee, Rachel Barnett of Bristow, Alice Brown of Mounds & Samaria Tiger of Okmulgee, several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Casket bearers were Marcus Brown, Franklin Brown, David Barnett, John Wilson, Jr. , Tony Perez & Jeremiah Wilson, Jr. Honorary bearers were Carroll Tennison & Larry Williams.
